VANCH VI-Q610 UHF RFID Industrial Reader

Long-range integrated UHF RFID reader terminal | IP67 industrial protection | Wide-band high-power | Multiple communication interfaces with GPIO and relay linkage

I. Overview of the Plan
This solution utilizes the VI-Q610 integrated UHF industrial reader/writer. The device supports ISO18000-6C standard UHF electronic tag recognition, features an ABS + aluminum alloy casing, and an IP67 protection rating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. It supports multi-band, high-power adjustable output, and includes built-in relays and level-triggered I/O. Equipped with RJ45, RS485, and RS232 communication interfaces, it can connect to PLCs and industrial control computers, adapting to production lines, automated food processing, sorting systems, component assembly lines, forklift/engineering vehicle management, and other scenarios. It enables long-distance batch automatic tag recognition, equipment linkage control, and material and vehicle information collection.
II. Core Functional Positioning
- Full-band coverage: Supports mainstream UHF bands in China, Europe and the United States, and is suitable for projects around the world;
- High-power, long-distance recognition; when paired with the AZ-9662 white card, the maximum read/write distance can reach 200cm.
- FHSS features dual working modes of frequency hopping and fixed frequency, strong anti-interference capability, and stable batch card reading;
- Integrated GPIO trigger + relay output, which can directly link peripherals such as cylinders, indicator lights, and barrier gates;
- Three communication interfaces are available: RJ45 network port, RS485, and RS232, compatible with various industrial control equipment;
- DC9~24V wide voltage power supply, suitable for various power supply environments in the workshop;
- -40℃ to +85℃ ultra-wide operating temperature range, stable operation in high humidity and non-condensing environments;
- With an IP67 dustproof and waterproof enclosure, it can be deployed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
III. System Working Principle
After power-on, the VI-Q610 transmits radio frequency signals in frequency hopping/fixed frequency mode according to the set frequency band, remotely activating UHF electronic tags and quickly reading/writing tag data; the identification signal can be triggered by a low-level trigger, and at the same time, the relay synchronously outputs a switch quantity to control peripherals; the tag data is uploaded to the PLC or management platform via RJ45/RS485/RS232 to complete material identification, vehicle registration, and production line release linkage, with fully automatic data collection without manual operation.
